I'm 18 years old traveling with two friends; Grant from Washington and Tim from Germany. We have just finished a school with YWAM in Oxford and are taking advantage of our remaining time by traveling the South Island. I enjoy skateboarding and rock climbing and hope to do plenty of both during my three weeks of travel!!

Couchsurfing offers the opportunity to stay with locals. Staying with locals would allow me to experience kiwi culture much more than in a hostel or on a campsite, it would also give me the opportunity to form friendships with people I wouldn't have the opportunity to other wise.
