I graduated university, worked for a bit and ultimately decided I wanted to spend my 20s experiencing the world with nothing besides what I could carry on my back. I’ve found the best way to dispel preconceived notions about different people groups is by sharing a meal with them!

I moved to New Zealand for a year and loved fully embracing another culture. Although I moved back to the states, NZ will always have a special place in my heart!

Prior to my NZ escapade, I graduated with a Marketing degree, worked at a school as a life coach for kids, and built websites for small businesses. I also worked as an assistant camp director during my summers and love spending as much time as possible outdoors!

I’m looking forward to exploring the fjords and learning at list a little about the Viking roots of Norway 🇳🇴

When I travel, I find the best way to get off of the tourist track is to meet locals, hear about why they love their city, and swap incredible stories. I definitely prefer staying in friends’ homes as opposed to hostels, and some of my best friendships are forged through traveling!

One of my favorite memories from Costa Rica is climbing to the top of Montezuma Falls and jumping over the edge!

I am sure we can find something in common! I’m full of stories, can bake a decent loaf of banana & chocolate chip bread, and will play any instrument you have lying around the house (or at least try to figure it out)
