Overview
About Me
I'm a fun loving, respectful, health and earth conscious individual who loves to meet and share with others. I have taken a break from education in order to pursue traveling and other interests, and my travels have expanded my perceptions greatly! Connecting with new people along the way has been my favorite part of my travels. Other people are my favorite thing about this human experience actually! I very much appreciate the philosophy behind Couchsurfing and have had wonderful experiences with it. One day I will settle into my own place to act as a host, but for now I am in continuous motion! This being said, I have so much gratitude for all hosts of the past and any hosts in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is such a powerful tool! I am not one to travel using fancy hotels or other types of paid accommodation, as it never feels very genuine. Couchsurfing gives an opportunity for the host and the hosted to really connect and share the experience together. I believe we all have something to share with each other, and it is often incredible what happens when two strangers open up to each other.
Interests
Anything that gets me outside is something I cherish.
- dancing
- fitness
- gardening
- traveling
- socializing
- guitar
- cycling
- hiking
- snowboarding
- volunteering
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is the type that makes me want to move!! Whatever that music may be, in whatever moment it may be, appeals to me. I love to dance and sing. I am not much of a movie watcher, but do enjoy the times when I get to relax and be entertained. My favorite books include Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield, The Way of the Superior Man by David Deita, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. All of these books for me represent thought-provoking, introspective books that have high value to the deep thinker!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once traveled from Colombia to Peru on a large boat on the Amazon River, a trip which took 5 days. I boarded the boat with no money, making for really interesting interactions with the boat captains!! My adventures in the Amazon were wonderful, even with no money.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to speak Spanish or English. I can share my experiences in life that have proved beneficial to me, therefore possibly beneficial to you! I can share a connection with you that others might not expose. I very much value our human interactions and think that it is important for us to speak our truths, rather than just small talk. I can share stories from traveling about central and South America, Canada, the US, and Hawaii.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my unconditional love with you! I can share my music, my dancing, my knowledge (even if it's just a little ;)), my passion for life, my energy, and myself!
