About Me

Adventurous, will try anything at least three times, avid nature lover, I pretend to be a photographer

Summer 2015: I'm planning on biking all over Europe. I'm starting with my parents, biking from Bergen to Copenhagen. From there I'm going to explore as much of Europe as I can!! Ultimately I'll be ending in southern Spain/Morocco.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard amazing stories of meeting new friends and falling in love with new places using CS, so I'm pretty excited to try it out!! That being said, I have yet use it.

Interests

I love almost everything related to nature and the outdoors, biking, backpacking/hiking, rock climbing (especially bouldering), sailing, and of course just hanging out taking everything in!

I love traveling but besides strapping on a backpack and heading into the woods, I don't have that much experience.

Also I am a complete sucker for card or board games

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Watsky (older stuff), Eddie Vedder, Dispatch, Less Than Jake, Creedence, Beatles, Avett Brothers... this list could get very long but I enjoy most genres and always excited to try new ones out
Books: I like to get completely lost in a book so I usually prefer epic novels or series. So the obvious Tolkien and Rowling. Recently discovered Ken Follett, and his stories are incredibly engrossing. That being said, my favorite is Walden by Thoreau.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dad and I biked from CT to GA (the eastern seaboard of USA). It was the last big adventure we were able to do (he is completely ok, just our timing hasn't worked out). It's how I fell in love with bike travelling, and why I'm planning on biking as much of Europe as I can this Summer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A meal, a drink, and my company. I can make a mean shrimp and grits.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey
