I grew up in the SF Bay Area in California but have lived in Atlanta for 20 years. I have a PhD in history and work as a high school world history teacher. I love international travel, live music, art, deep conversation, and being in nature.

I recently spent two weeks in Peru and explored the coast, desert, islands, rainforest, and mountains, including doing the 4-day hike along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It was amazing.
