About Me

Matthew 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. I have met couchsurfers around the world that no matter our differences are peacemakers willingness to share our differences and build friendships.

Meet Nathan: "Hand flapping can be me just being impatient. It can also be a calming technique. It's a way I communicate. It can show both excitement about just being included as anyone else. I get that way in the water very excited but over excitement can cause stomach pains. Self-harming needs to be better understood too. Many including myself have coordination issues we have been told we can't do something we are going to out try everyone else. When it still won't work that's when we get frustrated. I don't hurt anyone else and can learn to de-escalate but they happen." #autism #advocacy #inclusion #understanding #acceptance

Devout Christian, I won't try to change your views but Jesus is very important. We are called to open our hearts to everyone because everyone is a part of God's kingdom no less than a brain needs a heart. Jesus was a refugee from a different city and people opened their homes to him you're just as important.

Into Politics and world news

Love the beaches and the water I grew up on a small lake in the Irish Hills, MI. I love warm weather and would love to move somewhere warm and spend time in a new culture.

Want to learn to surf. I have taken training in scuba too.

I changed to maybe accepting guests to avoid constant hosting. This is a hobby and I want to make your visit special.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being hosted is amazing and what brought me to this site but the memories and the adventures have kept me here. I have been hiking in California, hiked Everglades National Park, watched the Detroit/Windsor international fireworks at a neighborhood party in Windsor, watched an air show, beach party in Miami and went sailing in Miami. I am excited to see where my adventures take me next. You can almost do anything you could ever dream of doing anywhere in the world.

I know not everyone believes in God or the same God but this group is definitely what he wants. People accepting people no matter the differences we are all created equally.

I would rather treat my host and explore vs. supporting a large corporation. The human connection is something no hotel can offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a book reader

Movies love comedies other than that I will watch any popular or highly rated movie. I am always interested in seeing a new movie I haven't seen before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Canada alone when I was 9 years old. I also played football and had a concussion.

Teach, Learn, Share

Talk about and analyze your city. I have a passion for the news so we may have a very interesting conversation about what is happening in your country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If outside the U.S. or have never had it Smore's share the Chocolaty, Marshmallow goodness. I will treat you to something we are doing as a thank you whether it is dinner or thing we do.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Jamaica, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
