About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Let's put it this way. We all need to get about for some reason or another. Sometimes you don't know anybody in a certain city in a certain country you've landed yourself in. Sometimes it can get expensive finding somewhere to stay. Sometimes you only see the tourist version of a place and don't really get to ... 'understand' the culture. Couchsurfing seems to answer all these questions. You get to stay with nice people, understand the culture from the natives' perspective, and save loads of money on accommodation. :) And in the end you've got friends all around the world. It's a no-brainer really. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like quite an eclectic mixture of music. Funk, hard rock, hip hop, metal, dnb, jungle, and bits and bobs of other genres. Bands that have left a lasting impression include System Of A Down, Tool, Jurassic 5 and AC/DC.
As for films and books ... I don't know if I have favourites. The Music Lesson by Victor Wooten is an amazing book - read it twice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was once completely silent for a whole week. Realised at the end of it that most of what I said was unnecessary.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can always impart a little guitar, bass or drum knowledge. Teach you a little about why music works. :) I can also prepare a decent meal, and I'm always happy to cook and share recipes.
