Overview
About Me
I'm wrapping up my undergraduate studies in Environmental Science at Western Washington University. Soon I will pursue world travel and a graduate degree. It's a very exciting time for me and I'm embracing the future like mad.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To tell you the truth, I was reading The Lord of the Rings (for the third time), reading about Tom Bombadil and how he treats his hobbit guests, thinking about how merry and fun the meeting is, when I realized that I could achieve something similar via couch surfing! I want to meet new people, offer them hospitality, and hear their story.
Also, soon I hope to be traveling through Europe or New Zealand and when the time comes, Couchsurfing will be an excellent resource; I'd like to gain some experience hosting before I ask myself into other peoples' homes.
Interests
I find security in Science and my love of life. As a student I pursue physics, chemistry, and environmental sciences. As a non-academic I love to read and enjoy the outdoors (and cook great food all the while).

Music, Movies, and Books
I haven't been keeping up with music these days but I do love the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I like to read great authors like Tolkien, Austen, Tolstoy, Dumas.. along with science books and outstanding new literature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent three weeks lost in Greece. I'm still lost in thought of Greece.
Teach, Learn, Share
I may be able to teach you a thing or two about science. I'd like to learn just about anything. And I'd thoroughly enjoy sharing stories or discussion of politics or religion over a pint of beer.
