COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whilst in Morocco I managed to arrange a stay with a CSer on the edge of the Sahara, who arranged for us to go camel trekking in the desert and stay in a Berber camp. Pretty cool.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music: the worse it is, the better.
Not really a fan of movies but I still watch them anyway, don't be surprised if I haven't seen any of your favourites.
Prefer non-fiction books: Freakonomics, Bad Science, that kind of thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a young child I had a strange allergic reaction whilst on holiday and had to stay overnight in an eastern German hospital, where none of the staff spoke much English at all (this was just post-communism). My parents were worried to death but I was too young to care so thought the whole thing was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you plenty of useless facts: did you know that Sheffield is the only UK city whose sewage system doesn't use pumps? It's so hilly that it's all done by gravity. There you go.
