Hi there! I'm Ten, a 3rd-year Environmental Studies student currently based in Japan. I’m someone who loves turning challenges into stories—whether it’s cycling around Taiwan during winter break, summiting Mt. Fuji, or finishing the Osaka Marathon. I’ve even directed a university musical, which taught me a lot about leadership and creativity!

I’m a huge language enthusiast: I'm fluent in Japanese, comfortable with daily English, and also speak some Korean. I’m always eager to try things I’ve never done before. When I'm not studying, you'll probably find me on a court playing volleyball, badminton, or table tennis.

I also run a YouTube channel documenting my life and adventures—I'd love to share it with you if you're interested! I’m always down for a good conversation about tech, psychology, or just sharing life experiences over a cup of coffee.

I believe the best way to understand a culture is through its people. Lately, as I’ve started navigating the professional world, I’ve found myself reflecting deeply on life’s direction and its uncertainties. Because of this, I’m eager to hear the stories and perspectives of people from all walks of life—especially those already in the workforce. I’m a firm believer that everyone has a unique story worth listening to.

I’m here to make genuine connections and share a bit of my own world with others. Whether it’s cooking a meal together, sharing travel, or diving into deep conversations about environmental conservation, I’m all in. The most challenging and rewarding experience of my life was cycling around the entire island of Taiwan. Since we were students on a budget, we skipped the organized tours and planned everything ourselves.
This journey turned into a masterclass in resilience and problem-solving. Throughout the trip, we faced flat tires, mechanical failures, and unpredictable weather. I quickly picked up the tech skills needed to fix a bike chain and patch a tire on the fly in the middle of nowhere.
Beyond the physical challenge, it was the human connection that moved me the most. The unexpected kindness of strangers—those who cheered us on or handed us water when we were exhausted—reminded me exactly why I love traveling. It taught me that even when the road gets tough, a little bit of grit and the support of a community can get you anywhere.

Teach: I can teach you basic Japanese or Mandarin Chinese. If you're into tech, I can also share some knowledge about basic Python programming. I’m also happy to show you some basic bike maintenance skills I picked up during my tour around Taiwan!
