Music, Movies, and Books

music: well, a lot of modern Jazz stuff (Jim Hall, J. Scofield, Brad Mehldau, ...), groovy improvised music like from Fela Kuti, some electronic music stuff, latin Jazz, nueva canción (chilena y cubana), traditional latin american music (huayno, bolero, son cubano, son jarocho, samba, zamba, chacarera, rancheros...) - interested in learning more. (if you like, you can check out my spotify-playlists)

movies: I like documentaries (e.g. "Cowspiracy") and 'arthouse' movies, like "E la nave va" (Federico Fellini). Not watching series often.

literature
english: Twain "The adventures of Huckleberry Finn", J. Franzen "The corrections"/"Freedom", "The origin of Stories" (Seneca Nation), poems by Seamus Heaney, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
spanish: Carlos Fuentes ("Aura"), G. García Márquez ("El otoño del patriarca"), José Revueltas, Miguel Delibes, Jorge Luis Borges
german: Juli Zeh ("Corpus Delicti", "Über Menschen"), Michael Ende ("Momo"), B. Traven ("weiße Rose")
...among others
