About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To connect lovingly & playfully, to respond consciously & to push through fear.
ABOUT ME
Lived in LA for about 11 years (including college) - did the actor thing: had a national commercial, worked on TV, in film, regional theatre, stand-up, and lots of Shakespeare!
Sold everything I owned and decided to get out into the world to see what ELSE is going on, to learn from others and to figure out who I want to BE while serving others.
I've been traveling full-time since late 2010 and really enjoy this life. I've also learned how to travel for incredible deals ($5 flights) using points. Happy to talk to you about that!
I think I have a pretty good sense of humor (can be pretty sharp sometimes, but working on dulling that). Love to learn and I LOVE food. I've done Paleo, vegetarian, gluten-free, and still figuring it all out, but I'll never turn down a meal when needed.
Daily practices of gratitude, meditation, exercise and engagement - looking to have as much FUN as I can.
PHILOSOPHY
Be Healthy. Live Your Values. Have Fun.
Be Present.
Spread Peace by example.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Excited to share how people can travel AND live healthy. I'm committed to living this way and learning more about how this is possible.
If you host me, I will prepare you a HEALTHY and NUTRITIOUS meal.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
have surfed in Hawaii, Chicago, Portland, Seattle and more. Always great people and interesting experiences!
Have visited ~40 US States so far.
Interests
Finding how to travel for as little as possible ($5 flights) - and helping others do that same!
Learning super cool stuff while working behind-the-scenes with the en*theos Academy (I'm a TA) and en*theos Radio (I'm a producer). I also host my own radio show: a recap with other TA's of some of the highlights from all the classes and shows!
Love cooking new foods and hiking in beautiful places. Best trip in 2011: driving 3200 miles in 14 days around the PacNW, hiking and camping solo in National Parks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam upstream and crawled barefoot over rocks to be in the presence of an immense waterfall - just taking in the power & beauty of this was amazing.
Hiking to the top of the snow-covered eastern Sierras in Yosemite by myself - absolutely nothing around, unbelievably peaceful and beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
People secure with themselves and passionate about the work they do - doesn't matter to me how you help or where you work - if you love what you do, I wanna hear about it!
Those who are looking to improve just one other person's life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm pretty comfortable in the kitchen.
I also play the ukulele, and I can talk about how to use credit card miles to score free flights, train trips, hotel nights, etc.
I also like doing WordPress website stuff.
