ABOUT ME

Hi. I'm Nathan. I couldn't live without traveling and great food. And cooking. It's a match made in heaven, really. I'm taking the next year or so to travel the world solo and explore whatever it has to offer.

Overall, I'm a really laid back guy. I keep tidy and won't make a mess of anything. Basically, I'm really appreciative of you letting me stay in your home and will respect it.

PHILOSOPHY

Be spontaneous. I don't think that counts as a personal philosophy, though, because I don't even know what a personal philosophy would be.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie? Blue Valentine. Absolutely. I'm quite a fan of independent dramas in general.

As far as music goes, I've been getting into more electronic (Nero, Nicolas Jaar, Purity Ring) and folk (Neutral Milk Hotel, First Aid Kit) stuff recently. But nothing can take me away from metal (Lamb of God, Motorhead) and punk (Cobra Skulls, old Green Day). It's a sort of strange mix of tastes, I suppose.

The last few books I've read. The Stranger, Amerika, Jane Eyre, The Plague, The Metamorphosis, In the Penal Colony, Lolita. If you haven't noticed, I love Kafka.

I can cook and love cooking with people. That counts, right?
