Overview
About Me
What's up, I'm Nathan! I find it really hard to describe myself in these things, but here goes. I'm a pretty easy going guy. I graduated from university not too long ago, and I've been traveling a lot since then, trying to figure it out. I spent a while in Uganda studying chimpanzees, and then a few more months traveling around Africa, which was pretty cool.
I really like food, and even though I'm vegetarian, I'll usually try most meat dishes while I'm traveling. I'm always really excited to learn new recipes from wherever I'm visiting. Im also always interested in political and social discussions, to learn about what it's like living in a place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What other way is there to combine genuine cultural interactions and cheap accommodations?
I only began surfing since I graduated college, and I haven't been in one place for long enough to start hosting. But I'm excited to one day start!

Movies: The Goonies, Indiana Jones are my favorites from childhood. I can watch Wet Hot American Summer, The Princess Bride, and most pixar movies over and over again.
Books: Frankenstein, Cry the Beloved Country, 1984, Ender's Game, Middlesex
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, Ben Folds Five, The Beatles
But it's impossible to ever make a complete list of this stuff!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In ten months working with chimps, I saw them hunt monkeys, fight other chimps, and play with each other
Played futbol in the streets of Sevilla, in the middle of the night
