About Me
ABOUT ME
I was born in the US but have lived most of my life on the outskirts of Monterrey, Mexico, an industrial city of 5 million people. I was privileged to grow up in the quiet little dairy town of Santa Rosa, where people were hardworking, honest, and would always greet you in passing, whether they knew you or not. I can't figure out whether I'm an introvert or extrovert--I love country life and quiet time, and books; but I also love meeting people, especially people who believe life is a positive experience and want to share it; they help me keep that same outlook myself.
Love a good discussion on philosophy, religion, politics (but I know enough to keep quiet around those who don't!).
I would say I am friendly, outgoing, studious, compassionate, honest, willing to help and work hard.
PHILOSOPHY
The universe is not about me; Truth is greater than I am, and learning about it and conforming to it is one of the greatest things I can do. Every human being is worth knowing and loving, even if he can't or won't reciprocate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to share what I have with others, and learn through others' eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share
People ask me what they can bring me when they come to my house. You don't have to bring anything! But if you want to bring something and need inspiration, here are some things that I love:
*If you are really into music:*
-A song from your playlist you think more people should hear--and why!
-A song from your hometown
-Your favorite song/piece from 100 years ago or more
-A song written by someone you know
I will add these to my Friends from Around the World playlist, and remember you by it!
*If you are a good storyteller:*
-A story from your hometown
-A story that defined or changed your life, whether it happened to you, or just resonated with you when you heard it
Or:
-Goodies from your hometown/country!
