Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite thing about travel is not the places but the people. I love to meet locals and other travelers over a coffee (and then a beer) to learn about them and where they come from. I love meeting people in hostels or in town and knowing them for a couple of days or a couple of weeks then for that bond to feel so strong that it's like we have been friends for ages. I'm looking for more of that as I travel the world. I want to find the best foods, best drinks, and best people that the world has to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2016 I traveled to Vietnam, while I was there I bought a motorcycle in the northern city of Hanoi and rode it down through the amazingly beautiful country to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in the south. It was one of the best things I've ever done. I think about it all the time and the friends that I made while doing it.
