ABOUT ME

I've recently returned to the area I grew up in after several years living in London and Cambridge in the UK.

I share the property with my mum on a small natural bush block in the heart of the Porongurup Village in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.

There are lovely people around but I miss the diversity of people I encountered when I lived in cities and the points of view that emerge from a more worldly experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I am slowly embracing a more spiritual view of the world. The idea of a universal divine grace is no longer a bizarre concept but something that is increasingly true and self evident. I am a lot more tolerant of religion than I used to be as I recognise the core truth at the heart of various faiths.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well i've been a bit of a hermit in recent times, but I'm looking to change that. I'm a volunteer organiser or Art in the Park here in the Porongurup, which is a unique outdoor sculpture exhibition held in the National Park, which I am lucky enough to live on the door step of!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have absolutely no experience of couch surfing per se. I'm not sure I'm adventurous enough for that but I'm full of admiration and respect for those that are and am happy to support them in their adventuring and to offer them accomodation in a truly beautiful part of the world.
