Overview
About Me
Recent geology graduate taking a year to travel around as much of the world as I can. Spent three months in South America, now making my way through Australia, then onto New Zealand, Nepal and then Southeast Asia. Love being outside hiking, camping and sitting around a fire having a few drinks. Looking to save some money and have some authentic local experiences by couchsurfing my way through parts of New Zealand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Part way through a year of travelling. Spent three months in South America and now am making my way through Australia before hopefully spending a couple months in New Zealand. Hoping to cut my budget a bit so I can travel longer and also have some authentic experiences.
Interests
Grew up skiing in the winters and spent my summers on a small lake sailing. Went to school on the east coast of Canada and spent lots of time studying geology, hiking, camping and frequenting the local pubs. Would love to do a lot of the same in a new area and learn from locals along the way.
