About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Buoyancy. Refining, defining, simplifying, expanding, changing, rearranging.

ABOUT ME

I am a musician and artist of any media (stone, metal, ink, paint, photo, video, sound.) I try to do way too much, so i always feel like i'm not doing enough, or vice versa. I've done a good amount of traveling but never enough. I've been to Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Australia, and all over the u.s. Hitchiking, cars, buses, planes and trains. I love people on an individual basis but tend to dislike the human race as a whole, i'm sure a lot of you can relate. I have a routine life and it makes me go mad quite regularly. living in one place is not natural and not good for the soul.

PHILOSOPHY

i am here to help people, and beautify the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a firm follower of the ancient code of Xenia. I am basically poor by american standards and yet we have such abundance in this culture, and i love to be able to make what abundance i have (extra bed, roof, stories, friendship...) available to the magic clan of travelers. I love to host people, its always rad to meet travelers, and people who live non-conventionally and free flowing. CS is such an amazing network, and such a simple yet intense necessity in this paradoxically connected/disconnected bizarre world we've crafted. One of the many entities pulling humanity back together while most elements of modern culture seem to tear it apart and break it down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i did a lot of hitchhiking and self imposed homelessness when i was younger, so i refined the skills of surfing and keeping in the flow. courtesy, respect, clairvoyance, being part of the solution. i travel more 'maturely?' now but the whole principal and execution is the same. CS didnt work out for me while hitching around australia (in 6 weeks i had 1 positive response, from an English guy) and I got discouraged, but Australians in general were extremely welcoming so it worked out well.

i am interested in almost anything.

far too numerous to list any favorites. anything that is expansive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skydiving is amazing. flying over the alps is amazing. i guess i want to be a bird.

Teach, Learn, Share

i want to learn languages. i've had a slow start but i am still young. the language barrier is truly a curse. i can teach music except that i don't think its something that can be taught, you can only influence.
