Hi! My name's Nate, and I'm a friendly and easygoing twenty-something. I'm from Ohio, but I've been all over the world, and love learning about different cultures and foods. I'm new to Couchsurfing, but several friends have had great experiences, and I'm excited to try surfing and hosting alike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've visited many cities, but what makes my visits most enjoyable is usually not just the activities in the city itself, but the friendliness & hospitality of the people I meet there. I'm on Couchsurfing so that I can meet awesome people from different backgrounds, whether in my home or in the homes of others.

Interests

I love traveling and living abroad, exploring new cities, playing and listening to music of all kinds (incl. piano, guitar, drums, rapping), being fit (rock climbing, running, casual ball sports), and meditation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just came back from a year teaching English in Vietnam. I drove a motorbike to work every day through swarms of traffic, de-molded my clothes every day, tried some very bizarre foods, and learned a lot about Buddhism & meditation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very friendly, and I can find interesting things to talk about with pretty much anyone. I love activities, but I'm quite easygoing, so I'll participate in virtually anything you have in mind. I'm open-minded and down to explore new things!
