I'm a 31 year old ESL teacher in Seoul, South Korea. I've lived here for nearly 8 years and have really enjoyed my experience but am keen to explore new parts of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't yet participated myself, but have had friends do it with great results. I'm generally a bit reserved at first when meeting new people, so I think CS will be a good way for me to put myself out there more and meet fellow travelers.

Interests

Hiking, riding my bike, photography, politics, and travel! I've made it a goal of mine to visit every country in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Two of my favorite books are Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness and Albert Camus' The Stranger.

As for music, my favorite songs are typically those that I can butcher in a noraebang (Korean karaoke room)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my time living here in Korea, I've hiked in all of the national parks and many of the smaller provincial/county ones. I enjoy living in a huge, frenetic city like Seoul but definitely need time away from it!
