To show what my land is like and get to know others, to make friends and to learn new things. Soon to be the best host possible.

ABOUT ME

I study Arabic and Development at SOAS in London, which feels like a different country for me cos I'm from Devon which is all country and coast. I'm a bit eccentric about languages and linguistics, and do development to try to participate in a small way I can to eradicate poverty on earth, and work towards a more just and environmentally sustainable society. You have to be optimistic, what's the alternative. I spent 4 years travelling the world, mostly working my way around and felt the academic type of learning calling.

PHILOSOPHY

Your body is your temple. Enjoy everyday doing whatever it is you love. Make the world a better place, use your natural talents to make it happen.

I've surfed in a fair few places and taken part in events, and now I'm mostly still now,

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I guess the culture I've learnt the most from was in the Levant in the middle east, and their hospitality was so sweet and really inspiring. If only in the U.K. we were as hospitable and as caring for others as over there.

兴趣

I love to learn all languages, history, science, mysteries, I practice parkour and freerunning, a sort of street gymnastics, getting from point A to B in a fluid acrobatic manner. Love long distance swims in the sea and appreciating the natural world.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbed to the top of a telegraph pole on top of la Isla del Tigre, a volcano island in southern Honduras and seen the plains, hills and mountains of Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and right out intot he Pacific watching continer ships like tiny leaves floating in a puddle.
