Hablo español, falo português. I travel extensively and love to learn, grow, improve, and discover - preferably with other open-minded people. I've been to 49 out of 50 states, 22 out of 63 national parks, and 10 countries. I enjoy cooking and learning to cook new things (although I'm not into baking), hiking, skiiing, canoeing, kayaking, and just in general being outside and expanding my geographical, intellectual, and spiritual boundaries. Currently I'm learning about investing, cryptocurrency, improving my Spanish and Portuguese (both of which I speak at a roughly B2 level), how to grow new types of plants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from around the world, because the people who resonate most with me are adventurers, travelers, envelope-pushers, iconoclasts, and just anyone from a culture besides my own. I'm down to show you around LA or nearby towns or nature, go to some kind of lesson or workshop, hike, get on the water, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once canoed with a small group of people for a week in Maine. We traveled 70 miles by water over the course of a week!

I can teach you to swim, use a record player, steer a canoe or kayak, light and cook on a fire, propagate plants, and make a damn good google sheet and calendar to keep track of all your needs
