About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

------------------------
I have lived in quite a few places in the world and have been stuck in the U.S.A. for four years(help!)!

Ever since graduating from college in 2008 I have been working on business projects that should allow me to travel the world on a shoestring. I leave for Colombia on August 17th and I plan on 'winging it', with very few concrete plans. I can't wait see where this journey will take me!

I am looking to discover the unexpected and meet kindred spirits as well as just plain interesting people along the way!

-----
I can get very passionate about new ideas, and I am the type that loves to dive in and explore things experientially and intellectually.

I love to stay physically active: for me there is nothing that beats an interesting life + the glow of exercise.

PHILOSOPHY

----------------

Life, for me, gets better and better as I grow older. I like to experiment with new ways living and see how they feel.

Interests

Viajar, culturas diferentes, siquologia, leer, negocios, artes marciales, bailar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the road from Santa Cruz, Bolivia to the country's capitol, our bus's home mix of cumbia abruptly cut off. As we were ushered outside, in confusion and suddenly enveloped by the cacophonous cries of jungle birds and the sounds of rushing water, we couldn't help but realize that the bridge we needed to cross the thundering rapids had been destroyed by falling rocks. The old people at the rocky river banks below in aluminum boats with paddles were not there for extreme sports--they were to be our only hope in navigating the treacherous, swollen river, and they expected unanticipated payment -- payment that I did not have (note to self: there are no ATMs in the desert shack that straddles the near-deserted border between Paraguay and Bolivia,. There are only officials whose pay is subsidized by large bribes from the once-daily bus that tends to carry phone smugglers). At that moment, I regretted my commitment to help the nice old lady with the gold tooth to bring her seven huge canvas bags from our lowland city of departure to the highest capitol city in the world. My nonchalant agreement to help her was about to be put to the test, and the unspoken, rhetorically posed question: "how hard can it be?", answered in the most literal of fashions...

Teach, Learn, Share

----------------
I would would be more than happy to to brainstorm about new business ideas; I might be able to help you come up with some new ones or refine one that you already have. I love learning/teaching languages and I love exercising; maybe we could both teach each other something new!
