Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not couchsurfed yet through this site but I imagine I would bring my fun, outoing personality and help my hosts while hopefully invigorating them with fresh wondrous perspective on the magic of their home turf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have worked on a WOOF-style jungle farm making medicinal tinctures and tending the garden (watch out for fireants and scorpions!) in the heart of Mexico, and stayed with gracious people in Campeche as well as hostel hopped around the gulf coast. No official couchsurfing per se but friends of friends have let me stay out in Illinois and Missouri when I go back to the Midwest for business.

Interests

outdoor adventure, spiritual questing, playing sports and games of all sorts (disc golf is a major passion), helping my friends when they need me most, listening to Mysterious Universe, reading epic fantasy, getting dressed up for festivals!

Epic fantasy like Steve Erikson and George RR Martin, Mysterious Universe (podcast),
I am open to enjoying all sorts of music but so far have found it most difficult to get into headbanging metal/screamo/too-simple-pulsing techno/emo-whiny boy bands/and stereotypical country...(folk is awesome and some country I learn to love when with people who enjoy it)
