ABOUT ME
I am a clothier / designer / world traveller / Linguist at heart 🤓
I enjoy connecting with others on topics of entrepreneurship, business, culture, and intellectual matters.
I am an avid learner, and naturally curious individual working to live life from my laptop, and continue to grow through my travels.

History of ME : )

Became an exchange student after high school before college, and learned to speak the Czech Language. Then went to college in Chicago. During college travelled back and forth to Prague, then spent another year in Argentina where I learned to speak Spanish. Then started my brand WalknTalk.
The brand led me to travel more extensively around Europe, and then to create unique partnerships in fashion, and entrepreneurship with other entrepreneurs around the world.
I currently run a company called Big Murphy's making custom suits, and mens clothing as well as custom leather goods.

Fun Fact about me: I used to live in a boatyard and work on a 100 year old wooden sailboat. I also once bought a truck for $100 and toured the states for 40 days with my best buddies from the Czech Republic when I was 20.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Living between Portugal and the USA I travel a lot to sustain my custom suit business and naturally love meeting new people, and keeping the cost of travel down whenever possible :)

I started open mic in Rogers Park, Chicago, IL. It still goes on every third Monday night at Royal Coffee, 7-10PM in Rogers Park. Brewing community in Rogers Park.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch Surfed in Saint Louis, and had an incredible experience!! Also hosted one guest who became a great friend!
Love the platform, and excited to keep connecting. 🌎🙌✨

I love languages: I speak Spanish, Czech, and Portuguese fluently, of course English as well!
I embrace community and enjoy: Open mics, playing music, improve poetry, dreaming big and "Going for it!"

Lived one year in Prague Czech Republic, 2007-2008
Returned to Czech in 2009, 2010, 2012.
Live in Buenos Aires, Argentina 2010-2011..Started my company WalknTalk while selling journals at a street fair in Buenos Aires.
2009- Best friends from Prague came to the USA. We bought a truck for $100 and toured the states from NYC to Seattle, ROUTE 1, San Francisco and back.
-Found a meteorite in Cordoba, Argentina.
-Founded a Brand Called Big Murphy's making custom clothing and leather goods in 2016 www.bigmurphys.com
-Outfitted people for the red carpet including famous authors and speakers.
