About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world! Meet amazing people, learn about different cultures, figure out what makes people tick, enjoy life, and have fun
I've been traveling around Asia for the past year and am now in Europe. I left New Zealand in april 2014 and have been seeking out adventures ever since.

Most recently, I cycled around the United Kingdom over the space of 2 months and then cycled from London to Lisbon following the coast through France, Spain and Portugal. A life changing experience for me

ABOUT ME

I am a young eager traveller, planning on seeing the world over the next few years. I am tidy and am always happy to help people. I enjoy deep and meaningful conversations with people to learn and grow from them. I'm also a vegetarian and enjoy taking care of my body.
Individual sports seem to come to me quite easily. Long distance running, cycling and swimming are my cup of tea. I love team sports but have never been very good at them!

PHILOSOPHY

What goes around comes around, so be the best person you can be! Life is transient so try not to get bogged down with things that will for ever be changing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH SURFING
I learned about the site just before I left on my travels (over 2 years ago), so I will be appreciating the generosity of others at this stage but when I get settled (where ever that may be) I will definitely be a host, as I think it is such a good way to meet people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed once in France! I loved my experience and am keen to meet more people this way, I have also travelled around New Zealand and South east asia by meeting people and staying in their homes when possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I first started travelling, I went to Thailand and volunteered at an orphanage for several months, when I was there, I also helped out building a hospital and helped as a volunteer ambulance driver. Needless to say it was an incredible experience for me as a young man, and made me realise just how fragile life can be.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very practical person, I have picked up many skills in the building industry over the past 6 years. I also am very into yoga. How ever I very much want to learn as much as I can as I travel. I learn fastest from talking to people about their country, beliefs, language etc. That is my biggest reason for traveling!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a little bit, I'm no expert but I know a few recipes, I can share a story or two about travels, I don't mind helping around the house with things that need fixing or cleaning.
