ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old Londoner who's dipping their toes in travelling. Recently graduated from drama school I work in theatre either Front of House (selling ice-cream and showing you your seats) or in a whole host of freelance places (producer, director, writer, teacher etc). So basically I'm just crazy about theatre.

But more than that I'm a huge geek! Sci-Fi, Fantasy, T.V, Films, Comics, Literature, Games, Fact and Fiction I love it! So will most likely try to find a tiny gaming/comic shop in whatever city I'm in next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've spent most my life not travelling, and that needs to change! However I don't no any languages, any cities or any people anywhere else. So whether it's travelling for work or travelling for fun I'd much rather stay with people who know the city I'm in.

Interests

As I said earlier I'm a huge geek so probably anything remotely geeky; Theatre, of course; and history. I want to know about places...to have anecdotes of the history of this place...and make a few stories for myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm producing and directing a Children's theatre show which is touring Copenhagen and Poland all the way until late September and I'll be following it around! (Hello couchsurfing)

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I don't speak any other languages apart from English I'll be needing help with the basics (Hello, Goodbye, Yes, No, Thank you, Two beers please, Two more, Where's the toilets I think I've drunk too much, etc) and in return I can help perfect your English? Perhaps?

If that's not selling I can always teach some acting skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A natural friendliness, certain amounts of charm, improv skills and storytelling?

But seriously the storytelling, I pride myself in being able to captivate an audience with tales true, false or a little inbetween.

But also a sense of privacy, I realise that not all hosts want to be talked to or cajoled into leaving the house, and I'm the same at times. I know when it's time to lay back and let the evening go.
