ABOUT ME

I come from a small town. I now live with a friend in Barrie, Ontario. I currently work in a factory but my intention is to be a Police Officer in the near future. I do a lot of volunteer work in my community. I'm a Big Brother, Venturer(Teen Scouts) adviser and a Victim Services volunteer. I also intend on becoming an Auxiliary Constable (volunteer cop). So I guess you could say I'm community oriented. For the most part I'm pretty quiet, but not shy. I love meeting new and exciting people.

PHILOSOPHY

My biggest thing is that I want to live my life...no that's not right. I want to LIVE my life! I only get one!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to see some of the places I've always wanted to visit. Italy, Spain, London, Iceland...to name a few. But, more importantly, I want to share my country with other people from around the world as well. I love that this organization gives people the chance to connect with people from all over the world and experience different cultures from the people that live it. I hope to be able to host in the future!

Interests

I enjoy reading... A LOT!
I like to play guitar (need to practice more!)
I'm an Amateur Astronomer. I have recently started an astronomy club in my area. One thing I hope to do is go to Chile or Australia and do some viewing from there. I hear you have the best skies for viewing down there!
I also enjoy Geocaching, I hope to do some abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Love 'em! Like to think I'm a sort of connoisseur. As for favorites, no specifics, but I do enjoy something thought provoking and not so much the mindless stuff.
Music: I know everyone says this, but everything! Musical appreciation 101 :)
Always open to new types too.
Books: Oh God! Haha, I love my books. I have quite a collection and I am always getting them faster than I can read them. Someday when I have a house of my own, I WILL have my own Library.
