About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living the good life, whatever it may be....
ABOUT ME
I'm 26 years old and just recently returned to the US from a 7-month English-Teaching Assistantship in France. It was an amazing experience because it afforded me the opportunity to visit new places, meet new people and make new friends. I live in the South Side Slopes of Pittsburgh with two of my friends. We have an awesome view of the city, we're a 10 minute walk down the hill from South Side works and all of the wonderful drinking establishments on Carson St.
PHILOSOPHY
Work Hard and Play Hard. Without experiencing reward from work put into receiving them, what's the point in working? One of the most liberating rewards is the ability to lace up my shoes, throw my pack on my back and go where my nose takes me. Without travel, our senses would be limited to monotony and denied the experience that allows us to grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially. I never want to stop growing...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am able to host, preferably on Weekends because my roommate and I work during the week. I need advanced notice because we each have a lot of friends who don't live in Pittsburgh and since we've moved in, we have had guests here every weekend. There is a pullout double couch bed in our living room and we also have a queen sized air mattress. We like to cook, drink, listen to GOOD music and hang out. We also have a jacuzzi so if you come, bring your bathing suit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a good friend who was an awesome host in Santa Monica. I hosted a surfer from LA and made an amazing friend out of it. Spent a wonderful autumn afternoon showing a surfer around Pittsburgh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 7 1/2 months in France, which was the first time that I left Pennsylvania anytime other than vacation. Since I returned home in May 08, I've been able to rendez vous with a friend from Paris in NYC two weeks after I met up with a traveling companion that I met in Europe and who hosted me in Santa Monica, CA. Life is amazing, has been and always will be.
