About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting set to move back to my home country (France) on the june first, feeling very thrilled!
ABOUT ME
My friends describe me mostly as a funny person and a chatter box hahaha
I'm a VERY outgoing person but a the same time I can be very shy, it's rare to find me just hanging at home, although I love to have some time on my own, just watching movies, series and listening to music. I try to help whoever I can, anyway I can, as long as I don't feel like being taken advantage of. I do my best to respect others' opinions no matter how much it might diverge from mine. It's all about respect. I believe that good manners are an outstanding feature, it can tell a lot about a person. I was born in France and lived there up until I was 10 years old, growing up surrounded by the mountains. After that I moved to Natal (Brazil). At the age of 22 I moved to Perth (Australia) and fell in love with the country and its beauty. Unfortunately I had to leave the land down under after two amazing years, so before I had to head back to Brazil I've had decided to spend a couple of months in Bali (Indonesia) to get some time off, meet new people and travel a bit.
I've been back in Natal since november 2010, but after living a whole different life while I was away, it's been very hard to readapt. So I'm going to start a new chapter by heading back to my home country after long 13 years without stepping a foot there.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in karma and dharma... what goes around, comes around. No matter how many bad things happen to you, be strong and never stop wishing good things to others.
Ocean is the most amazing and powerful thing on earth.
"I donât really want to become normal, average, standard. I want merely to gain in strength, in the courage to live out my life more fully, enjoy more, experience more. I want to develop even more original and more unconventional traits."
~ Anaïs Nin
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never officially hosted anyone through couschsurfing, but I hung out with a few people that got in touch with a friend of mine through it. Having some good and a little annoying experiences... wich is perfectly normal.
On the other hand, when I was living in Perth I've accommodated a korean girl (that I didn't know) in my apartment upon my friend's request and it was great. While I was in Kuta, I helped people that I met finding cheaper rooms by recommending the place where I was staying and even accommodated a french girl for a few days in my room as I had a spare bed and all the hostels she looked for were booked. Making a long story short: I arrived by myself in Indonesia and left there having made tons of friends :)
Interests
I love nature and animals... Any "nature trip" will easily get me excited! I love the sun, spending the weekends away at some beach is one of my favorites things. Pipa is the beach where I go to, mostly (lucky me, hey!).
Music is everything, I love to go to a good gig. Seing Ben Harper opening for Pearl Jam was two dreams at once becoming true. Another highlight was attending to the first edition of Lollapalooza Brazil Festival. Had the chance to see Foo Fighters, Foster The People, TV On The Radio and many other awesome bands performing live.
I find cooking very relaxing. I love to play around in the kitchen and cook something yummy with whatever I can find in the fridge.
I love photography and hope to be able to do some course someday.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I start pointing out every movie, music and book I enjoy... it'll be a long list. I basically enjoy anything that moves me and gives me a good laugh :)
Towards music, I reckon I'm eclectic... My favorite band is Pearl Jam and at the moment I've been listening a lot of Mumford & Sons. They're just sublime! Reggae just lifts up my soul. Ray Charles was one of the greatest musicians of all times. Joss Stone is full of grace and light.
