Overview
About Me
A Brazilian girl with the thirst of traveling the world, meeting new people and visiting all the amazing cultures all around the globe.
I graduated in psychology last year, after studying for five years, I felt identified with the areas of mental health, psychoanalysis and social psychology in which I intend to pursue a career.
From my teens I felt the urge to know the world and people. And I would like to do it as genuinely as possible, not just commercially.
I am an outgoing and open minded person, I like to talk, but I also respect the space and differences of each other, and this is what makes the exchange interesting, each person is a universe, it fascinates me.
When I travel, I try to know a little about everything, the history, culture, music, cuisine and the arts of each place. This doesn't exclude knowing the nightlife and going to concerts, parties, bars or pubs sometimes.
I try to make the couchsurfing experience as easy as possible, whether hosting or being hosted, I always prefer to dialogue and adjust things so that it is interesting for both parties.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing for several reasons. First because I like to meet people and their different ways of existing in the world. From this, I am more interested in this kind of experience where I can live a little the daily life of a place, or being able to provide it to someone. Although I can afford a hostel, I don't want to travel just to make photos, but maybe friends.
Interests
I'm interested in everything new! I like learning, like to experience everything intensely, from best to worst, especially if is sharing with people.
My interests are very wide, I enjoy having sensible conversations about politics and philosophy as much as telling funny stories and having relaxed moments.
I love writing, although I have an ambivalent relationship of love and hate with what I write hahah, some narratives and some poems. Sometimes when I feel inspired, I also draw and paint watercolor (which doesn't mean I do it well, but the important thing is to do what makes us feel good, isn't it?)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very eclectic, I hear from classical music to rock, it depends on my time.
My musical brainstorm: Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Alt+J, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Beatles, Tears for Fears, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Amy Winehouse, Beirut, Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Florence + the machine, Carla Bruni, Mayra Andrade... And many other things in Brazilian music.
Books:
My preference for literature is in the authors who can express in their own style the dilemmas of human nature, whether in a novel, a classic or an essay. What binds me in the book is sincerity and uniqueness. My favorite writers include: Clarice Lispector, Elena Ferrante, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Sandor Marai, Machado de Assis, Virginia Wolf, Kafka, Leminsky.

Friends, Twin Peaks, Sabrina, The Good Place, Lucifer, Black Mirror, The Alienist, Narcos......
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In December, 2015 I traveled to Rio de Janeiro with a friend for the first time. We had no money, made a sign with the destination and went to the road, we traveled the 8 hours ride, and then came back after staying 15 days there hosted by these amazing people we've found on couchsurfing, meeting people and stories. That's when I fell in love even more with traveling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Thirst of learning all about new cultures, without any pre-made judgment. Believe that sharing culture is one of the richest ways to learn, teach and share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am proud of the culture of my country (although we are going through a bad time), and it is always a pleasure to be able to share my gaze on it. Besides, I love to cook and make Brazilian drinks! I'm organized and I make a point of helping with that. I see this as a form of exchange and gratitude. I am a good listener, and I have good stories to tell when there is trust and harmony.
