Huge Football fan (Soccer for those Nth Americans). Attend games when I can, but apart from that like catching up with friends. Travelling has definately become something I love. I need a new place for my little things I have collected. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted many people for various lengths of time from a couple hours, days to 5 months!!! Funny how 4 days can turn into months isn't it Julia???... but it did... I have met for coffee a couple of times as well. I just aim to show people around my current city and if it helps their experience and I make new friends and learn new things, then it has been worth it as it already has been. I went to Germany last Sylvester Period to catch up with some surfers I hosted. I stayed with 2 of my Sydney couchsurfers and saw 2 others while in Germany. Would have been 5 but I couldn't make it to Bonn (Sorry Maja) before I had to come back home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted or met many wonderful people from all over. I have been very lucky to have had such wonderful people stay and I hope this trend continues. I've also met a few for a coffee and day tour.I was lucky enough to experience the flip side to hosting, and surf a couple "couches" in Germany from the people I hosted. I've recently returned from Sth America and stayed with a great host there in Colombia! :-)

I like biography's or true stories in both movies and books. My music taste is an eclectic mix from Paul Kelly (singer/songwriters) to Deadmau5. Watching live bands are fun as well.
I like watching true stories or comedy's when watching movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed a complete lap of the world and travelled through both the Panama and Suez Canals!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share how to open a drink using a 50cent piece, taught to me by Volker from Germany. I have some CDJ's if anyone wants to see if they can be a DJ for a day, I have built a bit of knowledge up of the local area and am curious about everyone's home city.
