I couchsurfed in several countries. Most of the people i met were good ones. It was generally easier to host than to be hosted.

I searched the place of the battle of Siffin in northern Syria.
I swam naked in the Baltic sea, a couple hundred kilometers from the polar circle, a rainy day.
I played in operas.
I ate eels.
