Overview
About Me
My name is Natomi, I like virtually splicing cute critters together to make even cuter critters for video games.
I get asked about my ethnicity a lot. Kind of a genetically spliced specimen here myself ;P
When it comes to creativity, my approach is "You cannot create anything new; build with what is already there." I believe every idea that anybody ever had or will have, always exists in our timeless collective consciousness, and is simply waiting for the right person to discover it. Creative talent and hard work alone is not enough to make a legendary artist, it also depends very much on what kind of person you choose to be in your day-to-day life. Therefore, it's more important to focus on your self than any one particular idea you're developing, or it'll just be a conceptualized version of something potentially far greater!
Here is some of my art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To use a couch as a longboard to surf some sick waves while being as comfy as possible, duh!
Interests
I'm open minded towards flavor, picky about ingredients and quality...in both food and life.
Art - 2D, 3D, illustration, animation, sculpture, photography, graphic design, writing
Music - Bass, mandolin, keys, voice
Advocacy - Citizens Climate Lobby, Income Replacement, Living Benefits
Outdoors - Biking, hiking, roller and ice skating, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, yoga, meditation, martial arts
I technically have a black belt in Tae Kwan Do, but I'm out of practice. I'm interested in learning other forms of martial arts, dancing, and gymnastics.
I like languages, I speak about three with fluctuating fluency and am always interested in learning more. I think a lot about the way languages have evolved and their continued interactions across speech barriers.
I thoroughly enjoy cooking and coming up with new recipes! I can help clean out your unwanted or about-to-expire ingredients and make them into something nice :)
