ABOUT ME

My only consistency is my inconsistency. I devote my life towards empowering people to make a change in their workplace and in their lives. The nature of the universe entails constant forward progression and change, and to deny ourselves that capacity would be betraying our true potential. Therefore, externally, I work towards positive change and social justice, and internally, I focus on developing my own evolutionary and spiritual potential.

My life is pretty colorful and strange, in all the best ways. I never manage to evade wild circumstances that end up giving me entertaining stories (no complaints!), and I seem to attract these things to me quite easily. I've got endless stories (if you have an hour, I'll tell you how I was stranded in Montana and adopted by a family of Jehovah's Witnesses for two weeks) and I'm more than willing to share them. In fact, I share most things.

I've got a surrealist sense of humor and I appreciate the bizarre. My mental workings tend towards the inexplicable.

I have a genuine love and curiosity for other people. This perhaps might be why I'm an organizer. I love talking to people and I'm sensitive to other people's needs and identities. When I see people get hurt in some way or experience some form of injustice, I get pissed off enough to take action. I love to strategize ways to make change, and I offer to sit down with people to talk organizational/campaign strategy for the fun of it. Nothing makes me happier than seeing something that's wrong in the world and formulating a strategic way to fix it effectively.

I've been told I have the best polyester in the Pacific Northwest, and I'm inclined to believe it.

PHILOSOPHY

Constant change! I believe we are at the crux of a new paradigm on this planet -- from spiritual enlightenment to social upheaval -- and I'm doing my part to lead people to realize their full potential.

Books: A lot of metaphysical works nobody's heard of, and social justice books... I'm currently reading When Google Met Wikileaks by Julian Assange. I like books from Middle Eastern writers, like Season of Migration to the North and The Stone of Laughter. And, of course, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran, which has been formative to my spiritual identity.
