Overview
About Me
IMPORTANT: Currently, I am living in Utrecht.
Why do I have to categorize me?
I have studied Criminology and I love everything related to it, specially gender and identity issues. I'm impulsive, curious and a little crazy.
I love moving, not to stop, doing and learning, smiling and discovering new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel, to meet people, cultures, customs and, VERY IMPORTANT, gastronomy. I would like to debate and to know differents points of view about whatever we can talk. To express and to listen opinions. To relate with local people and see the non mainstream and touristic places.
Interests
Discovered a lot, a lot to discover.
I have some strong values about respect to the people. I don't accept people who thinks is better than others or people who is machista (I haven't found the translation in English..* please, if you know, I am open to have new vocabulary), lgtbphobic (or another kinds of sexual orientations or gender representations) or racist.
I love reading (Althought I don't have time), novels, essays and anyother thing that may come to my hands.
I'm so.interested in everything related with islamic femisnist, queer theory, gender.roles and definitely, all related with a critical point of view about the society. Just now. I am starting reading a femint comic (Bitch Plant) and I am really happy to dicover new ways to learn about feminism, more thant the theoretical way.
To watch films, analyze and criticize them with the purple glasses (term that the spanish feminist use).
Doing sport (or trying at least).** Now I am doing a loooooooot with my flatmates.
To talk, TALK A LOT.
*(A glass of white wine or a cup of tee (but a good and cold beer always is welcome).

- volleyball
- gender studies

- ted talks
Music, Movies, and Books
I have no defined musical taste, I'm opened to listen. Lately, I am listening a mix of hindie-pop, hidie-rock, reggae and rap music with political or social lyrics: Mafalda, La Raiz, Rebeca Lane (feminist from Guatemala), Tremenda Jauria (feminist reggeaton), Krudas Kubensis (quuer music from Cuba). Without this social and politic complaints: Izal, Love of Lesbian, Vetusta Morla, etc.
Films... 'La Famille Bélier', 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas', 'My name is Harvey Milk', 'Pride', 'Samba', 'Requiem for a dream', 'Zulu', 'Sprinted away', American history X', 'Dear white people', 'Moonlight' a big etcétera. Four or five months ago I have started watching series.. Orange is the new black (amazing in a feminist and criminological way), Mr. Robot, Utopia, Sense8, The Bridge, Stranger Things.
Books? Dolores Redondo trilogy, the Divergent Series, Genesis, cómic 'La Loca del coño',... I have a big list with a lot of books I have to red, most of them issues ans academix books or articles about critical points of view.
