ABOUT ME

For as long as I can remember, the open road is something that has called to me. There is something very attractive about an adventure into the unknown. I need to experience something to understand it. This is why I am interested in traveling. I would like to develop a better understanding of people and the world we all live in. Whatever knowledge I gain I would like to share with those who are not granted the opportunity to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be as open minded as I can. Each person that you encounter can teach you something. I believe that positivism is a very strong force that every person has access to. Perception is everything because it can make one situation into two opposite things. I live to learn and experience my life in a new way every day, and to spread joy to those around me. There is a connection to life that we all have access to, and self discovery is the first step toward this understanding. I still have a lot to learn, and if I didn't well that would just make life boring :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new and interesting people, and to learn and experience new things. I love to do nice things for people, such as baking some goodies. I will hang out with you over a cup of coffee or some good live music. If it's the daytime though, we will be outside, most likely hiking or exploring. However, I am open to any ideas for outdoor activities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some really cool people passing through Monterey while I have lived here. The joy and thankfulness in the simplicities of life I have seen in these couchsurfers is something that has become a daily goal of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought my first motorcycle and drove it across the country the next day. Many amazing things happened on this trip, although I have yet to witness a tornado.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I can cook for you, and I am a good listener. I am currently a classical guitar student. I love to write my thoughts down at times as well. Sometimes that turns into poetry, and sometimes it's just commentary. I observe people and try to guess what their lives are like.
