About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore France! For many years I have felt the pull of France and the French language and I'm finally here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to get to know a place is through its people. When I have done the "typical" tourist thing I have found that the experience was deeply lacking. I also want to see if France is a place I'd like to live.
I have finally completed my first Couchsurfing experience. It was a very good experience and I look forward to more!

Interests

music, dancing, movement, being outside, going to the beach, river running, astrology, astrocartography, healing in all its forms, plant medicine, energy, healthy living/eating,

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy making music (I play guitar and sing). Its my medicine.

I enjoy many kinds of music (minus hard rock, pop country, a fair amount of the pop 80s, although I adore Michael Jackson) and love music that moves me to dance!

One of my favorite movies is Good Will Hunting. Lately I've enjoyed the French TV show "Call My Agent."
I've watched every single episode of "The Mentalist" at least once, if not twice.

Books: I got through phases where I read many books, and other times, none at all. I recently enjoyed Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, it made me want to visit Savanah, Georgia (USA). Sherman Alexie's The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian was hilarious. Barbara Kingsolver has always been a favorite author. Ishamel by Daniel Quinn was influential in my early years. I've also read works by Plato and many other famous dead white men...but i cant say they're my favorite.
