I'm a longtime traveler who has spent a good deal of my downtime growing up in the beautiful port town of Seward, Alaska. People tell me that I am easy-going, generally amicable, and empathetic. Music Therapy is my longtime goal, and I'm currently volunteering at Randall's Children's Hospital in Portland oregon. I find the work to be incredibly rewarding, as I am able to shadow and assist therapists in the clinical environment, while witnessing first hand how the power of music positively affects sick kids.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've saved up a penny or two, and I'm taking a break from school in order to travel a bit. Got to satiate that wanderlust!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into all sorts of music, but Jazz History class has got me on a classics kick. Typically I will listen to Indie, Jazz, Classical, Hip-hop, and other things that don't fall under those generic, ambiguous umbrella terms.

As far as literature goes, it's been McCarthy, Murakami, and Krishnamurti on rotation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked up a cliff point, only to look down at the daggered trees and icy bay of blue, stretching far as the eye could see. Visit Alaska!
