About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Preparing for term abroad Mexico and BA thesis

ABOUT ME

Bah what to say here? I'm brilliant, good-looking and terribly rich could be of help, but it would not be entirely true. Ok I'm not rich, happy now :-)

But I can tell I'm really open-minded and I love new experiences as well as getting in touch with new people who can tell a story. If not - no problem drinking beer is great fun, too. And for sure we can combine those things.

Right now I am studying cultural and social anthropology (german: "Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie") and economics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Muenster.

PHILOSOPHY

Have fun, meet people, drink beer, love whoever you want, enjoy life to the fullest!

Whatever you to, do it with passion and wistle while you work!

"Man muss noch Chaos in sich haben, um einen tanzenden Stern gebären zu können. Und ich sage euch Ihr habt noch Chaos in euch!"

- Friedrich Nietzsche

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since my world trip is over now and a lot of couches have been occupied by myself I guess it is only fair that I return the favour.
Do not hesitate to ask for accommodation if you are in or around Muenster. I might have some space to share. And even if I do not, I might know someone who has!

I will also be glad to walk you around town, grab a decent cup of coffee or hit the bars!

Interests

I love to dance, especially Latin American Dancing, playing theater and drama are other hobbies as well as many sports. I like board sports a lot, skateboard, surfing, snowboard, you name it. Did yoga and capoeira for a few months and starting over with karate now, which I did for a few years when I was younger. Feel like I should aim for a black belt.

I have always loved taking pictures and when I started traveling I grew quite enthusiastic about photography. I am trying to keep the good work up. If you feel like it you may check out my Photoblog -> http://insearchfordarshan.de/

Furthermore I am doing some stuff at the university. They call it "Fachschaft", I am not entirely sure how to translate that. Maybe faculty student council? Let's put it this way: I am involved in student and academic politics at my uni.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into movies and music. I listen to metal, rock, punk, ska, alternative, indie, old and new stuff, jazz, dancing music, flim music, classic, epic music, goa, trance, soundtracks...

I like movies by good old Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, and many more. Drug movies are great. And How I met your Mother is my guilty-pleasure series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoyed a splendid youth, Traveled around the globe once, hiked the Great Wall, surfed Hawaiian and a few other waves, got "married" in front of a fish-eyed Indian godess, worked for a Fair-Trade NGO in Mumbai, celebrated christmas in Australia with an one squaremeter big barbecue, Bulli-Tour through Europe to the BOOM Festival,...
