ABOUT ME

Living on this earth to make the best of all interactions, believing that learning about others is yet another path to self-reflection. And of course, I want to know myself as best as I can so that I can experience life and emotions in their greatest depth and brightest light!
Eternally in love with nature, I'm about to begin an outdoor education course and I'm psyched to learn all the outdoor skills that I possibly can! I love keeping healthy habits; eating raw, organic foods, doing outdoor sports, living sustainably..

PHILOSOPHY

Don't underrate emotions, instincts, and conscience!

They exist in all of us for a reason.

When we work on listening to these 3 together, I believe we can establish the most reliable spiritual guidance- exempt from fear and doubt.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of the musical genres I listen to..
Indie folk, bluegrass, blues, blues rock, basically all of the music of the 60's, jazz, bossa nova, MPB, fado, samba, forró, flamenco, spanish guitar, sephardic, classical, R&B, soul, dubstep, drum'n'bass, good hiphop beats for dancing... but certainly not limited to this list.

Movies: I find it hard to remember my favorites, but I definitely have a soft spot for 80's nostalgic movies, and I'm always down to watch indie and international films (like La Vita è Bella.. can't watch that movie without bawling). I love quirky movies like Moonrise Kingdom, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain... I also love period movies like The Painted Veil, The English Patient.. classics like Casablanca..
Also love Inglorious Basterds. I simply can't stop watching that movie whenever it's on!

Books: I've recently been reading authors like Charles Eisenstein, Paul Hawken, Bill McKibben, Joanna Macy.. basically environmentalists and sustainability leaders. I also read a lot of books on plant-based diets and general healthy lifestyle, like the China Study, How Not to Die, Power Foods for the Brain, The Telomere Effect..
I also recently read an awesome novel called I am Radar, by Reif Larsen. What a trippy book!

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel comfortable teaching people about yoga, raw foods, veganism and how to eat for health, energy and vibrance. I also love sharing experiences in the outdoors such as mountain biking, canyoneeering, climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, snowboarding, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, and slacklining or highlining (although Im not equipped to rig my own highline yet!)
I have formal training in all of the following topics: Fine Arts, Communication, Sustainability Design, Waldorf Teacher Training, Outdoor Ed/Rec, Avalanche training, WFR (Wilderness First Responder), Outward Bound Instructor course, Inner Power Yoga Instructor..
