ABOUT ME

I am outgoing, friendly, thoughtful and respectful. I am open minded and enjoy trying new things and meeting new people. I like to be around people who are positive and open minded. I am generally calm and relaxed and like to be around people who have a similar personality. I enjoy going out to bars or other events, but I am not really into the club scene. I can be easy going, but I also like to have things planned out. I am close with my family and friends and I love to spend time with them. I am into respecting the environment and the living being on earth. I enjoy learning about other cultures and societies. I am vegetarian and try to eat healthy, organic food. I also LOVE sweets, especially ice cream (not so healthy)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to meet new people and show some "surfers" around town. I have participated in CS events with my brother in LA, which I really enjoyed. I would love to participate in some CS events in my area as well.

I've met other members of CS and I have enjoyed their company and I found them to be very interesting and friendly.

Interests

I love music and enjoy going out. I also enjoy being outdoors and like to camp and hike. I like to do yoga, go to the gym, and go snowboarding. I like painting and enjoy viewing various forms of art. I like to cook and I enjoy experiencing different types of food. I like to travel and try new things, and I always love a random adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow.... I like just about every type of music. My music taste is all over the place, but I like the String Cheese Incident, Feist, Band of Horses, Ben Harper, Devendra Banhart, Modest Mouse, Hepcat, bluegrass and reggae music. If it includes a banjo, count me in :) My taste in movies is all over the place too, I am basically willing to watch anything once. I have a hard time finishing books for some reason, but my favorite book is "Catcher in the Rye" and I enjoy reading books by Charles Bukowski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots... among the most amazing were a sunrise at Joshua Tree National Park, Manu (jungle in peru), and a crazy music festival in Michigan called "Rothbury".

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about nature, the outdoors, yoga, and different cultures around the world. I would love to learn more about the topics I mentioned above. I would also like to learn more about cooking, art and painting.
