Hello Couchsurf community.

I am here due to my love of traveling and exchanging culture with others. I like learning and getting to know new people and listening to their stories. I am a very well-rounded person and open to many experiences life has to offer.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I originally joined the site because I was taking a backpacking trip from Mexico all the way to Panama, but my trip was cut short and I just made it to El Salvador.

On this trip, I met a lot of interesting people and was able to learn more about their culture because they were able to open their home to me. A lot of these people I have even kept as friends in my social media account. The site was able to help as an outlet between the people I met to continue learning more about their lives.

I want to offer others a similar experience as the one I had.

I can say that I have no favorite music as I am very open to new things.

I have a lot of favorite movies but I consider myself an old soul, therefore some of my favorite movies are like fine wine...A Bronx Tale, Any of those Al Pacino movies, much into the Spain, Colombia, and Mex series.

As a teacher, I enjoy a lot of children's books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Not sure of others but I consider my backpacking trip to be one amazing thing because I took the courage to go explore places unfamiliar to me with having just a backpack. Why so? Because I feel that it was something I should have done at a much earlier age in life, but everything happens for a reason. I was wiser and in a state of mind able to enjoy and appreciate my surroundings better doing at a much older age.

I can teach you how to cook a few Dominican dishes and even the Spanish language.

I can also learn other languages and maybe also learn about other dishes different from mine.

I can share my stories and experiences in life.

What I can share with hosts is my experience in life and the things I know about my culture. Yes, I work but during my time off I can cook or show them around.

I open my place to couchsurfers as it was done for me, as a means for them to get a more local experience, but I am not offering couchsurfers a place for them to overstay their welcome or take advantage of my hospitality. It is not ok to abuse others' kindness and live off your host, that's not the exchange that I am looking for.

Other than that you are more than welcomed to stay at my place.
