About Me

CURRENT MISSION

May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground

ABOUT ME

I am 29, I live in Tucson, Arizona with my husband who I met in Peru. I guess you can say that I live the typical "american life..." I have a house, car, job, even the cat and the dog. That's not what makes me happy though. What makes me more happy than anything else is to travel the world and to be free to do so. I have been to India, Peru, Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica, the Philippines, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Austria and it's still not enough for me. I am also a singer and musician and I love to be able to express myself musically. Most people who meet me for the first time think I am quiet or shy, but that's just because all my emotions are bottled up inside and are best let out through music. However, get a couple drinks inside of me and that also helps me to open up too :) I really love to get to know new people from different countries and cultures and learning things I never knew before.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy for this year is to simply be fearless. I have let fear hold me back most of my life and it's time to let go of that fear and have courage to do the things I really want to do. Every year we make so many resolutions: lose weight, be happy, work on music career, etc, etc but they would all be much more attainable goals if we let go of the fear that was holding us back to begin with. At least for me...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first couch surfing experience in Switzerland this past summer, my friend and I stayed at two different couch surfer's homes and it was really the best experience ever! I was so surprised to find that there are generous, kind, open and trusting people like that still in this world! I hope to be able to open up my home soon to couch surfers here in Tucson. I am open to meet up with anyone and make new friends.
