About Me

Hey there, In case you're wondering - my name is pronounced as David but with an N in the beginning.

Born and raised in the city of lakes in west India (Udaipur), I came to Poland in 2017 to pursue Master's, the plan was to get out of here as soon as I complete studies and move to any other "cooler" countries, but within these two years of studies I fell in love with Warsaw and Polish culture and decided to work here for a couple of years to get more close to the culture and people while gaining experience in the sector I am working in.

I did my Bachelor's in Computer Science and then Master's in Tourism Recreation with Event management as the major and ended up working in an American real estate finance corporate. You can say my career is swinging like a teenager's mood :p

I am a huge fan of traveling and exploring new places, that's why I chose to make a career in this sector, I am a cat person, I love Motorcycle rides and long drives, I like to bring people together by throwing small parties every now and then, I have moderate feminist views, I like to take a lot of pictures of every new event/place/experience I discover, I like to participate in debates and conference speeches, I like gaming and also into fitness, Hiking, and Kayaking, part geek, part nerd, into new tech and automobiles. I love discovering delicious street food and new cuisines, I eat a lot because I know I never get fat :P I do not like spicy food at all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends worldwide 🌍, to take part and experience amazing events and cultures, and to help and support fellow travelers.
I met quite a few people with amazing talents and views, some of them became really close and good friends of mine I would like to continue using CS as a channel to meet and discover more interesting people who we can't meet easily via any other social channel.
I use CS while solo traveling mostly because what is better than meeting and exploring a new place with the natives?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am gonna list only the "polite ones" here, the other ones I can share with you when we talk in person :p

Met Arnold Schwarzenegger and Wesley Snipes while volunteering at the UNICEF climate change conference.

Volunteered in several events to help less fortunate and homeless people in my county and in PL,

Drove 1000 KM in less than 15 hrs to a friend's sister's marriage to surprise them.

I made friends with the pilot and he showed me around the cockpit in mid-flight.

Learnt Snowboarding alone (sprained both my ankles, but it was worth it)

Organized a CSR "stop food waste" conference with my classmates.

Sneak out dad's car, went on a night out to another city, came back in the morning and parked the car 15 mins before my dad's gonna leave for work.

Stole my neighbor's scooter with my friends and went of joy rides when we were 12-14 years old.(we put it back before he noticed anything.)

I went for a hangout with friends after dinner and ended up joyriding in different cities for a late-night dinner. (this was most common in my teenage)

I woked at night hours from 9 pm to 6 am and then went to university from 8 am to 5 pm for straight 6 months.

Chose to move out of family and hometown when I was 15, since then till now I am living by myself.
