A wanderlust from India who came for masters in Stockholm and ended up staying here for longer than expected. I love to travel and more than that I love the planning. Predominately host guests, trying to be more active at it now!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Solidarity in Finland led me to join couch surfing, as it was pretty hard to meet people there. I started attending the CS meetups of Helsinki and made so many good friends. I have met so many wonderful people through CS, that I would like to meet even more. Also, I love to show around Stockholm on the weekends when I'm free or evenings on the weekdays.

I am using this app to host travelers mostly now, which is my way of satisfying my craving for travels by meeting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

I fumble and tinker with anything which runs on electricity.

Photography, outdoor sports, hiking, climbing, bouldering, caving, Latin dances, dogs, gaming, traveling and cooking.

Basically, I pick up and try to learn anything that interests me (which is almost everything) and fail miserably to master it.

Books - once I get hooked on a book, I can't stop until I finish it. Mostly fiction. Big fan of the Lord of the Rings movies and books.

Music - Classic rock and anything from the 60s-00s, pop and hip hop.

Food - The first thing I try out when going to a new place is their cuisine, and I try to not have any restrictions.

Met the real Santa (official :P) in his village in Finnish Lapland and hiked back 15kms.

Lying in the snow watching the aurora dance in the sky in Abisko national park of Swedish Lapland.

Trekked in the Himalayas, camped out in the cold on the top (without a sleeping bag) and saw ahead one of the famous peaks in India

Did a 4000mile road trip in the Midwest in just 9 days covering mostly all national parks.

I can teach a bit about Physics, Indian culture, and random tweaks to save time and money. Few words of languages I might know as well.

Usually I'm quite interested in learning new languages, dance styles and cultures so that I can share it with others. I love to learn new recipes and master them!
