Overview
About Me
I dance, I sail, I play tennis, and I sing horribly... do not invite me to karaoke.
I love traveling and meeting new people and experiencing new things that broaden my mind.. I also love adventure and maybe travel is one excuse I use to get away from the daily 9-5 routine (which is increasingly becoming more like 9-7 in this new age). I'm intellectually curious about random things especially science and technology, but also other things so I read quite a bit as well.
I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel quite a bit, and be exposed to different cultures and cuisines and ideas that have shaped my unique perspectives. I'm hoping to share some of myself with others who I meet on my journey, and learn from them in exchange.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted a couple of people to date, and it has been a very positive experience for me. I've learned from my surfers and they have left with memorable experiences of our time together. I'm hoping I give back more to this community than I have received.

Books: I read non-fiction books by Malcolm Gladwell (Tipping Point, Blink, David & Goliath, Outliers), the Economist, various Biographies and self-help books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailing voyage to the Channel Islands off the coast of Southern California on board one of Los Angeles' official twin tall-ship brigantines as crew. I love the ocean and sailing in the blue waters of California with dolphins by our side is my kind of adventure in paradise :) We did kayak at the sea caves on one of the islands, and I had fun climbing the 60-foot mast to be on watch.. looking back I don't know how I did that lol..
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach salsa dancing and some bachata.. I have grown to love latin dancing and being able to express myself creatively through dance..
