ABOUT ME

I feel like a new person every day, because I continue learning things about life that change me. And that means I have to get to know myself again, all the time. It's pretty fascinating. And then imagine that this process happens to the people around you as well, and there is so much to explore!

I love development, because there is no way back. I love people because everyone is a micro-cosmos and if you can connect there is magic to be found. I love being passionate about life. I love nerds who have unique interests. I love sunshine, riding a bike, chocolate, nature (especially jungle and forests and mountains!), wine, (Belgian) beers and tea, reading, writing, coffee shops, hanging out with my grandma...

I have very strong opinions and values but they constantly need to be updated and refreshed, which is why I enjoy discussions where people share their ideas and their reasoning, and not act like sheep mindlessly following each other or donkeys too stubborn to move.

This network has changed me forever. Knowing that I have friends and a place to stay wherever I end up in this world is a tremendously empowering feeling. I am never scared anymore, I believe in the goodness of people. So when a traveller reaches my doorstep, I try to return the favour and empower him/her with the same energy. I give all I have and I get it back multiplied!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I care for my couchsurfers. I'm not a free hostel, I want to hang out with you, show you what there is to see and teach you what I know. And, you have to teach me something too! About yourself, about life, the universe and everything, your culture, your language (probably I already know one word), how to cook your favourite veggie dish, how to stay warm in winter, what to do when you loose everything, how to open your heart to love again... I'm eager to know!

When I come to your place, it's not because I want to stay for free. Its because I truly want to meet you, because I read your profile and think that we can have a good time together. I want to give to you from my heart, to maybe cook something nice for you and be part of your life for a little while and make you a part of mine.
