Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a student on budget who loves traveling. Through Couchsurfing, I expect to make friends with local residents during my travels.

I love hanging out with friends and meeting new people. Nevertheless, I still like traveling on my own as this grants me the freedom to make decisions based my interest. Plus, traveling on my own forces me to be more interactive with local residents.

If you are willing to show me around the city, I would be glad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a recent one.

I went to my very first concert alone. At first I was doubting whether I was making a right decision going to a concert on my own. It was pretty awkward standing alone among people who came together with friends. By the time the concert began, I had eventually made my way to the very front row. It was awesome just enjoying the music and the sweet bonus was getting to meet with the singer after the concert!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Burmese as well as helping with Burmese- English/ English-Burmese translations.

I love cooking for the people I love. I only know a few recipes but when I cook for others, love and passion are my main ingredients. I can cook some delicious Burmese style food. If you would like to try Burmese cuisine, I would love to cook for you. I am also happy to share some basic Burmese dance steps with you if you are willing to learn.

I am also a compassionate person. I am happy to share about myself as well as hearing your story.
